Joey has a crush on Angel, she does not know he exists. Joey does not really fit in, anywhere. Then he gets a cool old car and starts trying to fix it. Things get better; he has a reason to exist. Maybe he is OK after all.

We decided to only make this film if it’s cool, if it is not cool we are not going to make it. All the cars in this movie, we built them we did not buy them.
